I know this sounds odd coming from a column that resides on CNNGo, but I am quite sick of CNN the TV channel.
Every hotel I've stayed in so far in Tokyo has nothing else in English on TV and so I am left with the constant stream of news, news, news and commercials about how culturally diverse the CNN news team is.
Lost in translation
Much as I'd like to enjoy Japanese soap operas and variety game shows, I have no idea what is being said as I flip from one channel to another, looking for an English program. ANY English program. Once, on MX TV, I came across a "Charlie's Angels" episode and was delighted.read more
